"I have worked with women in West Michigan for 30 years, helping them through the difficult and painful process of divorce. I started DAWN because I realized that women have unique needs related to their divorce and most law firms were not meeting those needs."
"A divorce is more than paperwork. In addition to enduring all the personal pain of the process, women are often forced to find new employment, keep a home together, and discover a new identity as a single person. They need an attorney they can trust. My goal is to help them through this emotional process so that when they reach the other side they are able to move on with their life."
"I also started the DAWN Foundation. I have represented so many women who have been emotionally, verbally or physically abused in their marriages that I decided I needed to help stop the cycle of abuse toward women. Through the foundation we are working to support and raise funds for programs that fight domestic violence and teach young people to respect women."
